Comedian Chris Rock’s new movie, Good Hair documents the $9 billion dollar industry catering to black women’s hair..

Rock attempts to answer the question, ‘what makes good hair?’

Released this month, Rock adds his usual humor as he speaks to regular people and celebrities—such as Ice-T, Al Sharpton and Paul Mooney to get their take on what “good hair” is, how it can be attained, and if it’s a realistic goal to have.

If you watch the video, you will see him travel to India, to see the hair extension industry. It is claimed that this is India’s largest export; I am not sure about that, but know that the majority of human hair extensions come from India.

Good Hair is released this month.

Well the dolls feature an “aqua-curl” fiber that allows all the budding young hairdressers out there to create hairstyles from curly to straight and back again.

It all looks fairly sedate though, with nothing too extreme happening. It looks like the Divas had nothing to worry about, or did they?

The Divas hit Sydney Hair Expo on the Queen’s Birthday long weekend and had a great time.

Of course it was purely an educational working weekend, with none of the partying associated with Sydney Hair Expo.

Oh, and we won’t mention the 18Kg of grog as extra luggage…..
